Pre-Draft Analysis

Expected Draft Capital: Late 1st Round

Ideal Landing Spot: Detroit Lions

The Lions surprised the NFL this season with how much they had improved overall. One spot they hadn’t improved was in the secondary. The Lions were among the league’s worst in points allowed and are in desperate need of a star on the back end of the defense.

Kinchens is projected to go in the second round but has the talent to sneak into the first round. The Lions will be picking towards the end of the round and could be a prime landing spot for him in the first round.

If the Lions opt to go a different direction and he slips into the second round, there is sure to be a long list of teams in the hunt for him and he will surely go early in the second round.
