Are you ready to seize your moment in the spotlight? Welcome to Draft Kings Stack Hunters.
Stack Hunters Strategy
With players growing more familiar with DFS tournaments, they’re actively seeking tactics to gain an advantage. Among the crowd favorites is the “QB-WR stack” strategy, a powerful maneuver that doubles the thrill with quarterback-wide receiver synergy, amplifying points whenever the receiver hits paydirt. Eager to elevate your game? Join me as we explore three tiers of stacks, each offering options at varying budget levels. Brace yourselves for the Draft Kings Stack Hunters (Week 1).
The High-End Play
CJ Stroud, HOU (19.6 PPG) $7,500
Nico Collins, HOU (18.2 PPG) $7,000
If you want the Lion’s share of your team budget to go to your QB/WR stack then this is the duo for you. This stack will cost you a combined $14,500 which is good for the third most expensive one on the board. Last season they also averaged a combined 37.8 fantasy points per game which is good for third most of any stack. They have a value of one fantasy point scored per 384 dollars of your budget spent and are a great option in Week 1.
The Mid-Range Play
Kyler Murray, ARI (18.9 PPG) $6,400
Marvin Harrison Jr, ARI (Rookie) $7,200
This stack is slightly cheaper, coming in at a combined cost of $14,500, and comes with a similar projected total to that of the Houston Texans at 32.9. This one is a bit riskier because you are relying on Murray regaining his old form and are putting a lot of faith in a rookie receiver who has never played an NFL game but there is certainly upside in this stack. The Cardinals stack comes at a value of one point per 413 dollars spent, so why they are the cheaper of the two options listed, they don’t give you as much bang for your buck.
The Low-End Play
Daniel Jones, Giants (11.2 PPG) $5,400
Malik Nabers, Giants (Rookie) $5,900
The Giants stack is another risky, but high-upside one because it involves a quarterback who needs to rebound and a rookie receiver whose never played an NFL game. The Daniel Jones and Malik Nabers duo comes at a combined cost of $11,300 and is projected for a combined total of 24.2 fantasy points. They give you a value of one fantasy point per 467 dollars of your budget which is a significantly better value than the two previous stacks but comes with far less upside.
