In the whirlwind of the past five years, Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) has exploded into the spotlight, captivating fans from all corners. Picture this: tournaments teeming with a dynamic range of participants, anywhere from a modest ten to an electrifying 100,000 players. Now, strap in for an adrenaline-fueled ride as we delve into the heart of a Draft Kings Showdown, where the action never sleeps and the stakes are sky-high with a mere $20 buy-in. But wait, there’s more! This battleground is reserved exclusively for Sunday’s gridiron gladiators, where every move counts and champions rise to claim their glory. With a wallet-busting $50,000 salary cap, contenders must craft their dream team of nine gridiron warriors: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 11 Flex, and 1 DST. Are you ready to seize your moment in the spotlight? Welcome to Draft Kings Stack Hunters (Week 4).
Stack Hunters Strategy
With players growing more familiar with DFS tournaments, they’re actively seeking tactics to gain an advantage. Among the crowd favorites is the “QB-WR stack” strategy, a powerful maneuver that doubles the thrill with quarterback-wide receiver synergy, amplifying points whenever the receiver hits paydirt. Eager to elevate your game? Join me as we explore three tiers of stacks, each offering options at varying budget levels. Brace yourselves for the Draft Kings Stack Hunters (Week 4).
The High-End Play- Chiefs vs LAC
Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (16.2 PPG) $7,200
Rashee Rice, Chiefs (23.6 PPG) $7,300
The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the elite stacks on the board this week and come at a combined cost of $14,400 with a weekly projection of 39.8 fantasy points. Rashee Rice has been one of the hottest receivers in the league as of late and with Patrick Mahomes always capable of dropping a monster game, this stack has weekly league-winning upside. They also get a favorable matchup with a Chargers defense that will be without star defensive back Derwin James and have the potential to put up monster numbers in Week 4.
The Mid-Range Play- Saints vs ATL
Derek Carr, Saints (1.7 PPG) $5,900
Chris Olave, Saints (12.2 PPG) $6,500
The medium-priced stack on this list cooled off in Week 3 but was on fire to start the season. At one point Carr was as high as QB2 in scoring. Olave had struggled through the first two weeks of the season but turned that around last week. In Week 4, the Saints face the Falcons in what figures to be a shootout. This shootout potential gives Carr and Olave the potential to be top performers in their position. Look for Carr and the Saints to get back on track and put up multiple touchdowns together in this one.
The Low-End Play- Panthers vs CIN
Andy Dalton, Panthers (13.8 PPG) $5,300
Diontae Johnson, Panthers (12.5 PPG) $5,600
The Panthers are the bargain basement stack on the board with Andy Dalton not being a sexy option and Diontae Johnson needing to bounce back after a slow start to the season. After replacing Bryce Young last week, Dalton was able to revive this Panthers lineup and he promptly put up three touchdowns and more than 300 passing yards, the first quarterback to do so this season. This stack gives you a ton of bang for your buck and should once again put up a solid value play against a Bengals defense that is inconsistent and ripe for production.
