Welcome to Dynasty Buy-Low & Sell-High (Week 3). This is where we discuss some players who have gained and lost the most value in dynasty leagues over the past week. If you want to see our full Fantasy Football Universe rankings, check out our FFU Rankings Page. Here are the players we are looking to buy low or sell high heading into Week 3 of the 2024 NFL regular season. Some are veterans approaching the age cliff, while others are players that we think are about to break out and skyrocket in value.
Dynasty Buy-Low Targets
Dalton Kincaid, Bills

In week 2, Kincaid earned an 88.5 PFF receiving grade, the second-highest grade of the week. However, he suffered an injury on the first drive of the game. Despite this, he still managed to run 75% of the routes. The game turned into a second-half blowout, with Buffalo only attempting 19 passes. With Buffalo’s upcoming games against the Jaguars, Ravens, Texans, and Jets, they will need to step up their game, and Kincaid is expected to be a key part of the passing attack. It’s a good time to consider investing in this potential game-changing tight end while his market value is low. Kincaid is ranked as the TE5 and overall 64th player on Keep Trade Cut.
Tank Dell, Texans
Embed from Getty ImagesYou’re investing in a player who might not be the top wide receiver for the Texans, but he significantly outperformed his current ranking of 5.6 PPR (WR73). Dell has been on the field for 85% of the Texans’ offensive plays, and although his PFF receiving grade of 52 is a concern, his past performance, where he outperformed Nico Collins on a ppg basis last year, shows his potential. Currently, Dell’s value is lower than George Pickens, Travis Etienne, and Isaiah Pacheco on Keep Trade Cut. I would gladly trade all of those players to acquire Tank Dell in a dynasty league. Go out and get Dell while his value is likely as low as it will be all season.
Rashid Shaheed, Saints
Embed from Getty ImagesShaheed deserves to be on this list for the whole year until he starts getting the dynasty respect he deserves. Shaheed is a full-time player in the Saints’ offense, and as a wide receiver, you have to find ways to get him in your lineups. Among wide receivers, Rashid Shaheed has the 8th highest PFF Receiving Grade this year at 82.5, and he is currently leading the NFL in Yards Per Route Run at 4.69! For context, Tyreek Hill led all wide receivers last season with 3.82 Yards Per Route Run. Under new play caller Klint Kubiak, the Saints are unleashing Shaheed with pre-snap motion, and his speed creates havoc for defenses. I would happily send a 2nd round pick for Rashid Shaheed in dynasty. Get in now before everyone realizes that Shaheed is not a fugazi and is here to stay.
Dynasty Sell-High Options
J.K. Dobbins, Chargers
Embed from Getty ImagesI love seeing J.K. Dobbins, who I was very high on coming into the 2020 season, performing well on the field. He had two great matchups to start the season, and he smashed. However, despite his efficiency, there are some concerns about his role moving forward. Dobbins is in a running back by committee (RBBC) in LA and is losing goalline work to Gus Edwards. Additionally, he’s not contributing much in the passing game, evidenced by his four targets through two games. I have Dobbins ranked as more of a RB2/3 for the rest of the year, depending on the matchups. It’s hard to trust a running back getting less than 15 touches a game, especially if he’s not finding the end zone regularly.
While there’s a chance he could take more work from Edwards, I’m concerned that the Chargers might want to keep him healthy for the entire season and not increase his workload too much. I would look to move Dobbins for a future second, or a veteran impact producer such as Davante Adams, Mark Andrews, or James Conner,. The odds Dobbins turns into a top 12 RB this season are slim, so I would use the market to get out.
Zach Charbonnet, Seahawks
Embed from Getty ImagesCharbonnet has been a one for one replacement for Kenneth Walker, receiving all the RB touches in week 2 and playing over 90% of the snaps. While Walker is out, Charbonnet will continue to be a valuable asset for the Seahawks and your fantasy team. However, since Walker will return this season, it’s important to note that the coaching staff prioritizes Charbonnet as Walker’s backup. It’s time to take advantage of Charbonnet’s increased value by trading him to a team in need of a running back with promising young wide receivers like Rashid Shaheed, A.D. Mitchell, Jameson Williams, or an injured player like David Njoku. Although it may cause a temporary pain, making this move now will benefit you in the long run.
Travis Kelce, Chiefs
Embed from Getty ImagesThe tight end position has been quite challenging this season, with many top tight ends, except for Brock Bowers, failing to meet expectations. Even the usually reliable Travis Kelce is only averaging 4 points per game, ranking 32nd among tight ends. It might be a good idea to consider trading Kelce while his value is still high. With the emergence of Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, Patrick Mahomes seems to be looking in other directions for targets. It’s evident that the Kansas City Chiefs are no longer heavily reliant on Kelce for success.
Kelce’s value might also benefit from the injury to running back Isaiah Pacheco, who is expected to be out for an extended period with a broken leg. Consider trading Kelce to acquire a top 100 asset in dynasty leagues or using him as part of a package to upgrade at another position. As Kelce ages, it’s important to plan for the future, and while Kelce has name cache, it’s running on empty.
