Welcome to the Exclusive Sneak Peek: Erick All, a three-star prospect from Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Ohio. After high school, All committed to the University of Michigan, becoming a Wolverine.
As a tight end at Michigan, All failed to find the field until his junior season. However, it didn’t translate to much success in terms of production. Unfortunately, he saw little playing time in his senior season, so he transferred to Iowa to take advantage of one more year of eligibility.
At Iowa, All didn’t accomplish much more than he had at Michigan. His numbers were uninspiring overall, but he was putting up a decent season before tearing his ACL in mid-October of 2023. Had he remained healthy, All likely would have posted career numbers and been more than a dart-throw option at the position this April.

Scouting Reports
Strengths
- Able to separate consistently against man coverage.
- Good size and a capable blocker.
- Good hands with nice contested catch ability.
- Speed is above average with solid ball tracking and soft hands.
- Quickness when turning upfield and into a runner is impressive.
Weaknesses
- Doesn’t have top-end speed, so won’t pull away from defenders.
- Blocking needs work, especially to remain on the field in most situations.
- Not very elusive and relies on his size when running in the open field.
- Needs significant route running development to excel at the next level.
Pre-Draft Analysis
Expected Draft Capital: 6th Round
Ideal Landing Spot: Atlanta Falcons
All has an opportunity to become a situational player right away, but he has to land in the right spot for it to matter for his development. Catching passes from Kirk Cousins behind phenom Kyle Pitts is the right spot.
The Falcons don’t have much behind Pitts at the moment, so they will draft a tight end this year. But with more needs on the defensive side of the ball and along the offensive line, they should wait to take a tight end… unless they go after a top asset with blocking chops. If they elect to pass on an elite option, All is a nice consolation prize given his ability and the fact that he attended TE U in Iowa City. Having a capable backup to step in for Pitts in the event of injury and offering a big-bodied target for Cousins in the red zone would be a boon for Atlanta, if they bring him aboard.
For All, he will need to develop as a blocker and/or a receiver to stick at the next level. Especially if he is to become fantasy relevant, he’ll need to end up in an excellent spot. With the Falcons, the pressure to start right away will be removed while he’ll also be able to get on the field. Of course, this is again contingent on Atlanta staying away from the earlier TEs in this draft. If All ends up here with another, more polished rookie prospect or in another spot where he is buried on the depth chart, it’ll be tough for him to climb out of that hole given his current skill set.
