Scouting Reports
Strengths
- Acceleration. He gets off the line quickly to gain some separation at the snap of the ball.
- Big body with reliable hands. Attacks the zones quickly making him a reliable quick first read.
- Runs with some strength after the catch. Does not go down easily & fights for the extra yards.
- Short and intermediate throws are where he finds most success.
Weaknesses
- Does not possess a top end speed. His first 10-15 yards is where he is most dangerous.
- No twitch to his game. Does not do much after the initial snap to gain separation.
- Struggles against defenders that press him. If he does not get off the line quickly he is likely out of the play.
Pre-Draft Analysis
Expected Draft Capital: Round 6/7
Ideal Landing Spot: Jacksonville Jaguars
Reiman will need to learn a bit at the next level before making an impact. A team that could benefit his short yardage ability could be the Jaguars. But he could benefit from learning the position a bit more from an experience Tight End like Evan Engram. The Jaguars like to pass, but they are not passing deep utilizing the short and underneath routes where Reiman likes to shine.
