Welcome to The Fantasy Football Universe Rookie Mock Draft 11.0. This mock draft was Superflex and tight-end premium. It was a 12-team draft and went three rounds for 36 rookie picks. The number after the team signifies that players have risen or fallen in ADP since our last superflex mock draft. We will have a post-round recap as well as a winner and loser after each round.

Round 1 Recap
What once was a consensus top-10 in our mock drafts, seems to have transitioned into a top-8. For some reason Troy Franklin and Brian Thomas Jr now find themselves in the group that is teetering on the Round 1/2 turn. The top-8 remain unchanged, although their order is subject to personal preference even from the start where the debate has been Harrison Jr or Williams.
The first round concludes as usual, with managers taking their favourite receiver from the second tier, but where it gets interesting is the inclusion of Michael penix Jr who has come nowhere near the first round in any of our mock drafts.
Aside from the odd quarterback pick we see the RB1 being the only running back to crack the first round, that too is open to personal preference. In some drafts Brooks goes first, in this draft it was Benson.
Round 1 Winners & Losers
The best pick of Round 1 was Troy Franklin. This one is great value. For a receiver who was once viewed in the top tier with Odunze, Harrison jr, and Nabers it’s interesting to see him suddenly falling in draft rankings. Franklin was typically part of the consensus top eight picks in our mocks but now finds himself going in the absolute clusterfuck that is the Round 1/2 turn. He is still my consensus WR4 and I will gladly take him over the next tier of receivers.
The worst pick of Round 1 was Michael Penix Jr. Perhaps the most confusing pick of the entire draft. This is likely the result of a new drafter not reading this room correctly. 12th overall is eight picks higher than Penix Jr has ever gone in one of our mock drafts and is considerably higher than any of us at FFU are comfortable taking him. He is likely to settle in to the middle of the second round, this is too early, especially in a draftroom that is far lower on him than consensus.

Round 2 Recap
The second round is typical. We see a large run on the remaining tier two receivers as well as the rest of the potential solid running backs. While the players selected in this range are consensus, the order as always is subject to high variance based on personal preference.
Typically we’ve seen a quarterback go in the earlt-to-middle of the second round, but with Penix Jr being overdrafted, we don’t see another quarterback selected until Bo Nix at the end of round two.
This round is rather boring and instead becomes a “go get your guy” situation. The players will remain the same, it’s all just a matter of personal preference.
Round 2 Winners & Losers
The best pick of Round 2 was Jaylen Wright. Depending on the FFU analyst, Wright ranks as either RB3 or RB4, so to get him at the end of the second round is excellent value. Getting him after Blake Corum is also excellent value. He goes off the board after the likes of Bo Nix which is insanity.
The worst pick of Round 2 was Keon Coleman This pick was interesting. It’s odd to see Coleman suddenly rise for no particular reason, while Franklin falls for no reason. Coleman is much farther down the draftboard for me and goes before at least six players I would prefer including Brooks, Thomas Jr, Lloyd, and Pearsall.

Round 3 Recap
Round 3 is the same as the second round except with far riskier players. If you have a major preference for a player late in the draft, now is the chance to grab him. We typically see both tier two tight ends go off the board here as well as a dart throw quarterback like Nix, Penix Jr, or Rattler but with two of them being overdrafted we see no quarterbacks.
The only other options in this range are the dart throw third tier of running backs as well as the next tier of wide receivers. As I said before, this is a large group of players all of a similar value, so go get your guy if you have one.
Round 3 Winners & Losers
The best pick of Round 3 was Roman Wilson. For reasons that were not made obvious, Wilson fell nine spots in this mock draft. Getting him after Baker, Coleman, Legette, and even Corum is excellent value. It’s interesting to see some of the players that were once skyrocketing up the draft board are now falling for no reason. It just goes to show how quickly the hype train can be forgotten in between rookie events such as the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine and Senior Bowl.
The worst pick of Round 3 was Jermaine Burton. I will admit, this pick has put Burton as the top player on my “take another look” list. I don’t believe Burton has been drafted in any of our mocks, so to see him go 11 picks earlier than expected would have qualified as insanity if it weren’t for the analyst who made the pick. Before dismissing it as a bad pick, I’m going to put it in the TBD category and admit that it has me intrigued and is going to having me giving him a deeper look to see what I may have missed.
