Welcome to the Rookie Profile for Adisa Isaac, an edge rusher out of Penn State. He is from Brooklyn, NY, and was a 4-star recruit from Canarsie High School.
Isaac spent his entire collegiate career as a member of the Penn State Nittany Lions. It began as a freshman in 2019 where he appeared in only 6 games. He totaled 4 solo tackles, 10 assists, 3 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble in limited playing time. In 2020 as a sophomore he would again play as a part-time player and appeared in 8 games. He racked up 5 solo tackles, 8 assists, 1.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
His entire 2021 season was lost due to a torn Achilles and didn’t see him appear in a single game.
He returned in 2022 to be a full-time starter and appeared in 13 games. He piled up 15 solo tackles, 13 assists, 11 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks and showed potential in his first crack as a main contributor on the Penn State defense.
His final collegiate season came as a senior in 2023 where he appeared in 13 games. He set career highs in his final season and racked up 23 solo tackles, 14 assists, 16 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 forced fumble.

Draft Capital & Landing Spot
Draft Capital- Round 3 Pick 30
- The Baltimore Ravens did what they do, they stacked linemen on both sides of the ball. This is a lofty investment for a player who likely won’t see significant playing time for at least a year.
- The investment of a round-three pick is an encouraging sign of the Raven’s long-term belief in Isaac, but it’s going to have to be a long-term plan for fantasy managers.
Landing Spot- Baltimore Ravens
- As I stated above, Baltimore is a great place for a defensive player to land, but this is going to be an IDP fantasy asset that is going to requires a great deal of patience. The likely scenario here is that he finds his way onto the IDP waiver wires long before he ever becomes fantasy-relevant.
- He has the potential to be an impact player for IDP fantasy leagues, but it’s best to let someone else draft him and deal with his growing pains.

The Ravens returned to Happy Valley to bolster their pass rush, selecting Isaac from Penn State after choosing Odafe Oweh in the first round of the 2021 draft. Despite a torn Achilles in 2021, Isaac rebounded impressively the next season, participating in all 13 games. In 2023, as a fifth-year senior, he distinguished himself with 7.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss.
Although lean for an edge player at 247 pounds, his explosiveness is evident with a 4.7-second 40-yard dash. He joins a robust edge rotation in Baltimore alongside Oweh, Kyle Van Noy, and David Ojabo.
Isaac is going to be a depth option for the immediate future and at this point is best left as a taxi squad stash off the waiver wire.
