Rookie Profile: Dallin Holker, Tight End, New Orleans Saints
Welcome to the Rookie Profile: Dallin Holker, a Tight End from Colorado State. He is from Lehu, Utah, and was not recruited out of Lehu High School.
Holker began his collegiate career at BYU in 2018, where as a freshman he appeared in 12 games and caught 19 passes for 235 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
His next season didn’t come until 2021 as he stepped away from the team and preserved his redshirt status. As a sophomore, he played in 13 games and caught 14 passes for 200 yards and 1 touchdown.
He was a junior for BYU in 2022 where he played in only 3 games due to an ankle injury and caught only 9 passes for 86 yards and 1 touchdown before transferring to Colorado State.
In 2023 as a member of the Colorado State Rams, he had his college breakout where in 12 games he caught 64 passes for 767 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. After this breakout, he declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Measurables
Draft Capital & Landing Spot
Draft Capital- Undrafted Free Agent Signing
- Another undrafted free agent and another rookie clinging to life in the fantasy football world. Holker was never in the top tiers of tight end in this class, but going undrafted was surprising.
- There isn’t much to say here. He went undrafted and signed with the cap-strapped Saints, he’s a dart-throw at this point.
Landing Spot- New Orleans Saints
- The Saints are in a better landing spot situation than his draft capital situation, but that isn’t a very high bar to surpass. There isn’t a definitive stud tight end on this roster, so Holker could earn a role, but I don’t expect this Saints offense to be very good.
- Juwan Johnson, Taysom Hill, Foster Moreau, and Jimmy Graham are all on this roster, so at very least he should have some solid veterans to learn from in his rookie season.

Fantasy Impact
The fantasy impact here is negligible because his fantasy value to begin with was negligible. Holker is buried on a deep but non-impressive tight end list, and with him going undrafted he is at best a developmental dart-throw.
For now, Holker isn’t even in the category of players on my watch list. He is dead for fantasy until I see reasons to believe otherwise.
